Ahhh, it's fun again...
On the manic side of bi-polar. Was actually missed by someone here, have plans to go see movies (like as in small group out to Underworld and MASSIVE group outing to The Matrix Revolutions), had a good day, have plans plans plans, caught up with people, and to top it off, watched Law&Order and they were talking to a chick right outside Nacho Mama's. All Melbourne has to offer and a bag of nachos from home.
Heh.
Also, A.I. is total crap. Had to watch it for film, and I have to say it's honestly the WORST movie on my syllabus. Keep in mind that syllabus also includes Starship Troopers (which is laughably bad where it's intentional to make up for where it's just plain terrible), and Tomb Raider (which has Angelina Jolie, and yeah, I saw it for her along with everyone else). But maaaan...A.I....wow was that bad. And I knew it would be, seeing as no one I talked to about it liked it, but phew, what a stinker! Spielberg did Minority Report all right, but never let him and Kubrick mix. The blatant references to 2001 were bad enough that I could recognize them and I haven't even seen that movie.
FAS rocks my world. We're having trivia night next Tuesday, which means I gotta ditch MUUC's trivia night. MUUC's got pub night tomorrow, which I need to find in order to give my deposit for my advanced open water course ("it's not stupid...it's advanced"--place that quote!), before which I need to go to karate, book and pay for the women's seminar for Sunday and maybe dinner Saturday night and a t-shirt. Must also write paper sometime between now and Monday, do 400 pages of reading by next Friday, an assignment by next Friday, reschedule flight home...
Ack, lots to do. Hey, what's everyone else doing who's not on LJ? Somebody e-mail me because I'm running around like a chicken with no head (like that chicken in Meet the Feebles who had the elephant's baby...erm, okay, nevermind).
