If you're going to fall for an audience, make it a showstopper! I and some friends were playing freezetag in a playground with lots of junglegym type equipment, years ago. The catch was that you were not allowed to touch the ground, or you were out. At one point a friend leaped for the hanging bars and caught the second rather than the first, quickly followed by his forehead meeting the *first* bar at mach1. He dropped senseless to the ground. "OUT!" we yelled, although I was the only one who had seen what actually happened. I later demonstrated jokingly what happened to the rest of the group. My only problem was, I did *exactly* what the first guy had done and knocked myself cold. When I came to, I said feebly "See? That's exactly what he did. I meant to do that"
