Just be glad you aren't in a field that mandates OSHA trainings. The environmental hazardous materials one is 40 hours initially, plus 8hrs a year to maintain. Then the construction safety one is another 20 hours... and that's not even getting started on the education requirements for certification maintenance.

I wouldn't be so cranky if they weren't expensive, instructor-led trainings or if the presenters were remotely entertaining... I'm much better at absorbing material from a book than from bad powerpoints.
