No less than FOUR Uwe Boll films on the list? Well...I guess to get the list up to 30, you'd have to include just about every video game-to-movie adaptation I can think of. Sure, Uwe Boll films are enjoyable in their own way, but they are not even remotely good and they're almost bad to the point where they stop being funny-bad. I'm gonna have to look at that list and see how high they scored.
Pokemon and Digimon? Now there's no excuse for those two being on the list in my opinion. Were they video games before they were TV shows/cartoons? No? Then THEY DON'T COUNT. Ugh, do the people/person who put this list together have no shame?
Resident Evil is #1? Well, at least this list has that going for it. Love it and thoroughly enjoyed all three of the films so far. Looking forward to the new one.
Hmm, I wonder where Mortal Kombat and Double Dragon placed? I love Mortal Kombat and I even enjoy Mortal Kombat: Annihilation even though it's a significant step down from the first. Have you ever seen Double Dragon? One of my best friends and I watched that and Street Fighter The Movie back-to-back in what was supposed to be a horrible game-to-movie adaptation movie night years ago -- Street Fighter was every bit as bad we expected it to be, but Double Dragon turned out to be good! Not good good, of course, but it was bad in a way it intended to be and had us laughing at lines and scenes that were actually meant to be funny!
