Still got nothing on my mom's cat. In order for her to eat anything, you have to watch her eat. And every thirty seconds or so she'll stop eating and look up at you, and this is your signal to pick up the food bowl and push all the food back into the center. Only then will she eat again.

Of course, she's 19 and weighs less than five pounds at this point.
