LOST-y lost lost!
Nov. 24th, 2005 01:42 pm I'll admit it, I thought she'd fired the gun when they started the ep off. When it turned out she had been shot, too, I still thought perhaps she'd done worse, killed someone at the same time, only the wrong person. And when she told her mother that the guy wasn't the right one, I believed her.
And then...oh God. It didn't hit me right away. It felt like a plot-twist specifically manipulating me to care for her, and I wasn't having it. But all of two seconds later, I was hurting for the girl. And damned proud of her. She could have tortured him, but Ana-Lucia's a cop, so she knows the first rule of criminalistics: the exchange of evidence. The quicker she gets in and out, the lower the chances she's left incriminating evidence behind or taken any with her. I think she got out the brutality well enough by shooting the bastard then walking up to him and emptying the clip into his head. She's a smart cookie.
Wonder how she'll fit in with the other Lost-a-ways now, especially with Clair having a baby...
I was all teary when Rose and Bernard met up. They were a hundred times more cute than Jin and Sun somehow, even though Jin and Sun were adorable. The actor who plays Bernard did such a good job, I was all choked up for those characters. Gah.
And I cannot wait for Mr. Ecko and Locke to start being jungle bad-ass buddies.
As for next week's preview...meh. I really don't care about Kate at all. Her babying Sawyer to get him to take the medicine Jack gave him was all implying stuffs and what not, and Jack was being jealous well enough, but I really don't care at all about that triangle. What Kate did...? Blech.
