LOST, I forgive you for having been a Kate-centric episode last night. I forgive you for whimpifying Sayid over Shannon (Shannon, I ask you!). I forgive you for the teasing of Jack, the moping over Ana-Lucia, and the not revealing squat about the 'incident' mentioned in the hatch's film real.

I forgive you because:

1. Daniel Dae Kim started off the episode...without his shirt on. Thank you. Thank you. And one more: THANK YOU.
(Hurley looking over at him and Sun being post-orgy cuddly and giving the thumbs up was icing on the cake. Can I have the icing on DD Kim's abs, please? Yum.)

2. Sawyer falling out of bed answered one of my fundamental questions about his character once and for all: boxers.
(That he fell out strangling Kate was a bonus, even if he was channeling her exploded father.)

3. Mr. Ecko had the balls to say Locke was a faith-trumping idiot, and yet he did it with so much class.
(Am still waiting for their wacky jungle adventures, but suspect that if they teamed up, the Others would be history in about two seconds, so, willing to wait...)

4. Sawyer is back from the undead! With sarcasm still intact!! He thought they'd been rescued!!!
(It might be cheating to consider an episode with Sawyer being...Sawyer an excuse to love this show, but hey, I never said I played fair.)

5. Aww, Michael.
(Not only was I not annoyed to pieces by him possibly getting in touch with Walt, but I love love loved that he didn't quite manage to say his name in surprise. Nice touch).

and a bonus--#6! IS NEXT WEEK POSSIBLY ABOUT MR. ECKO? ROCK ON WITH YOUR BAD SELF, LOST!
