Is there a program, like open office or something, that would allow me to read a WPD (Word Perfect, version 9 if you must know) file? Word doesn't recognize them--curse you, Bill Gates!

If you mail it to me, I can see if I can open it and paste text back to you.

you might be able to open it in notepad...I also thought that word could sometimes open it, but you need to convert it somehow...

Converters for WP and lots of other stuff are on the Office install disc as optional components. Seems they're not installed on your machine. I don't know if you have access to that disc at work, though...
