Damn you, Summer
Aug. 3rd, 2005 05:25 pmSummertime is just too chock-a-block with movies. This isn't a complaint, mind, as movies are my addiction as much as diet pepsi or video games. But it's hard to get good and fixated on a film the way I'm used to doing when I see a movie every other week. As a result, I've had fic-bunnies attacking me from all directions, and I can't get one fannish impulse to sit still while I indulge another. Stupid summer.
That said, anyone want to see The Dukes of Hazzard if I can cajole Lisa into getting us some discounted Loews tickets? We'd have to wait like a week, but maybe by then it'll have garnered at least enough middling reviews to encourage more people to come with (or bad reviews to scare us people who are open but ashamed about their desire to see it). I make no apologies for wanting to see this movie, only claim that my otherwise fault-free yens to see movies are being short-circuited by Sean-n-n William Scott's nefarious 'ens' and shit. Like how I liked The Island because OMFGSQUEEEE Ewan/Ewan slash!!!oneoneeleventyone!!. It happens.
