Ahhhh! Will Power, DAMN IT!

I bought Dana-sister the collection of Farscape DVDs that Jotham said she didn't have. It was only $20 for a full third of the first season, the best third, in my opinion, which is the last eight episodes ("A Bug's Life," and the four episodes with Scorpius as the new baddie are the stand-outs).

IT WAS ONLY TWENTY DOLLARS.

I bought her The Neverending Story, too, because I love her enough to spend more than $20 on her (and Drew's paying for half of the total anyway). But how will I exercise restraint when, through DDD, I might have the entire first season of Farscape for about $50? HOW, I ASK YOU, HOW!?

Sooooo glad I waited on these DVDs as is. The season box-sets go for $90, but the "Starburst Editions" are, as I may have mentioned, $20/set, 3 sets/season. They are also more compact--one box, two double-sided DVDs per box--and supposedly have more features still on top of apparently hilarious commentary (this is according to bigscary). I usually hate reissued DVDs, but since I didn't buy them yet, it's worth it and I want it and ack!!!!

But, no, must exercise non-existent will power. Have muchos expenses ahead of me for trip to San Francisco and Hawaii (hey, friendofsnarf, I'm going swimming with the Rays!!! Flippy, Flippy, Flippy, Flippy, Flippy, Flippy, Flippy, Flippy, and Hambone!). MUST NOT BUY!!!

I peeked at the IMDB's quotes from Serenity. I stopped after about four or five that didn't say expressly they were from the trailer, but I couldn't resist catching a few.

To spare the rest of you, let me just say that I am now very anxious to see the movie and very mad that it's still a month away.
