Weekend Debauchery
Nov. 21st, 2005 02:24 pmI managed to get tipsy and not drunk Friday night and buzzed-but-not-tipsy Saturday night at two separate belated birthday get-togethers. Much fun was had by all, I'd say, and me not excepted. Stayed up till 2 am both nights, and slept till noon both Saturday and Sunday. Ate good food, hung out with awesome peeps, and generally lived it up. feiran home, which is such a swing around from the way these things usually go, I'm still amazed.
Saw Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Friday night. Liked the Weasley twins well enough--though I wouldn't go into the raptures some ( ::cough cough::viridian ::cough:: ) do about them. Loved Ron, as always, and absolutely adored Neville. Neville's story gets me just here, you know? And the actor who plays him is so loveably doofy-looking, heart-breaking, and endearing all at once. I cannot wait to see him in Order of the Phoenix. Lots of naughty bits-type humor, which hey, gave us Daniel Radcliffe in a bath, so, not complaining! This movie feeds the paedos on both sides of the aisle. Not sure if I like it better or worse than Prisoner of Azkaban, as it was a lot jumpier than POA at the start, and some of the changes, while necessary for story brevity, felt, meh, I dunno, not well achieved. I miss Gary Oldman as Sirius lots.
Other than that, it's a short week, I'm gonna get turkey and pie by the end of it, and everything's coming up Milhouse!
