Happy Holidays Fic!

Here's the first of several projects to come. It's probably the shortest one I've got, but only because the prompt immediately suggested an idea. So's we're clear (or so I am), I've still got jethrien, viridian, deepredbelle, and alizzy's fics to go (ivy03, I have a fandom, but you should request character(s) and give me a prompt).

This one, however, is for newredshoes. I was not given a fandom, only a prompt; I had to choose one of her fic's opening lines and write my own from it. The fandom is Firefly, no spoilers as it is pre-series.

The prompt? ( 'You...you want to what?' )

News from the front:

FINALLY. I think I have a working idea for Madame La deepredbelle. I have been agonizing for ages about how to do this without the prompt being all literal. I am debating getting rid of the coda (I always want to say too much!) and I will force others to proofread it for me...perhaps at writing group? Who knows!

Now all I need to do is start in on ivy03's! Otherwise, I've got the main plots down! WOOOO!!!!
