My sister called to see if I'd managed to wrangle a cheap flight out her way again, and I confessed I hadn't yet (will get on that, I will!) and we chatted for a while. She seemed a little more hyper and talkative, which makes me think the isolation of having no work and a new baby is getting to her (she does not like to be without things to do, for all that she must still be exhausted from OMGWTFBBQbaby).

We were just shooting the shit, what have you, and then Cassandra started to squall, and I gather she was strapped to Dana's chest 'cause you could hear it across the cell phone, and she was like, "I gotta go." I cooed at baby over the phone (yeah, like she could hear me or cared--babies don't like me!) and let her go. Aww, baby.

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] feiran and I are revisiting the glory days of Dynasty Warriors 3. It's still easily in my top ten games of all time, it's just a tad frustrating when I go to do something and realize I can't because that option wasn't available until DW5. Like jumping off the horse still in motion, or hell, just getting on a horse whenever you felt like it (damned low-level generals). But yeah, giving some love to the characters who were left out the first time around (I blame [livejournal.com profile] arcfox7 for reawakening this need for this game, with all his talk of playing the XBOX version of DW5). You can tell who spent more time on this particular save because every character I like has been absolutely maxed out, health, musou, defense and attack-wise and [livejournal.com profile] feiran has maybe one character she's ever played that even went through story mode.

Lalalaa, nothing else to see here. I need to get working on the "five things" meme, methinks.

DUDE. Galliano killed the Cybermen! And Darth Vader! Who says fashion isn't useful?

Don't believe me? Check it out!

I didn't believe it until I went to New York magazine and looked at the collection (collection is here by the by; this outfit is the fourth one, rightmost on the top row).

Dag. Well, I guess if he's already raping Japan to steal their traditional dress for "inspiration" he can thumb his nose at George Lucas and the BBC. I love how "what's new for Fall 2007" consists of women looking like origami come to life and with men looking like rejects from the equivalent of Mad Max: Asia to match.

Does that guy (seventh picture) have beetle antennae on his head?
