Mar. 20th, 2007 12:01 amHoly crap, my niece is the cutest thing ever. I mean, she's one cute baby, and, sure, I'm biased all to blazes, but still. My sister and brother-in-law sent me a CD's worth of digital photos of the baby from her first couple of months, and there are some of the most ridiculously adorable pictures on here.
My favorites are probably the ones of Cassandra and her daddy, especially the ones where they're both asleep together. It's adorable. The cuteness factor is in the mega-obnoxious zone. Not that my sister and her baby aren't likewise cuter than bunnies being petted by kittens, or whatever. It's just that the pictures of my sister and the baby together are heart-meltingly gorgeous. My sister looks so happy. I can already see her in the role of the grandma pictures that are on here (and boy-oh-boy, do grandmas on both sides look thrilled with baby). I have never seen her that transcendently happy. That thing they say about pregnant women and new moms "glowing"? That's real.
