...someone named Michael is very concerned about my trouser snake, as he has sent two e-mails to that effect. I'd like to assure him that it is fine, but I'm actually wearing a skirt today.

And where was he when my ribbon snake died, mm? He's prejudiced against snakes that are not of the pantaloon variety!
