Five things make a post
Oct. 2nd, 2009 02:11 pmThings for which I am grateful:
1) This week is over. I just...I need a break from the past week.
2) The cable and internet are still around, though I haven't yet figured out with Time Warner what the hell someone did to make that the case or what amount we get credited back to us. It's back. For now, at least, I will take that and work out my paranoias about it all coming crashing down on me later.
3) My new power cord for my laptop works and I am no longer scared to unplug it, lest I never get AC power back. Thanks to Dell for getting that to me inside of a couple of days.
4) The new kitty fountain is eerily quiet, especially compared to the nightmare noises the old, broken one was making there towards the end. It's also huge, which means it stores more water, which is good--less likely the cats will run out when I'm not around.
5) I am going upstate for a weekend to study, craft, and relax. There's a hill that takes you up to our driveway, and I just realized last night that it's been a dog's age since I did anything about drive up it. I'm going to get out of the car when I get there and run to the bottom going "WHEEEEE!!" Because I am so mature. Yes.
