Wide World of Weekend
Feb. 16th, 2010 12:00 pmA long weekend is good for what ails you. Except if what ails you is a whopping case of immaturity because I'm sure all that
feiran,
wellgull,
moonlightalice, and I did all weekend was make "That's what she said" and WINKWINKNUDGENUDGEENTENDRE jokes.
I did get to a matinee of The Wolfman. ( Didn't hate it. Didn't LOVE it, but didn't hate it. )
Other films I "enjoyed" this weekend:
Sands of Oblivion: Dan Castelleneta can't possibly need work this badly.
The Day the Earth Stopped: Judd Nelson was billed second despite only showing up at the end for all of a minute.
GHOST SHIP on the other hand? FUCKING BRILLIANT. Forget the movie. Set this sucker up on your Netflix Watch It Now, and put on just the first five minutes of movie. I won't say why. But this opening had me roaring with laughter and delight. No movie as derivative as that one was should have such an awesome opener. Holy crap.
