Oh my. Oh, oh, oh, this made me splutter at work. Um, it's probably not safe for anyone's work but mine, where, because I laughed out loud, I then got to show it around to my other coworkers. Who laughed, probably mostly at me for finding this so funny. But it was.

Ooh, look what's coming to Netflix!
I was kindly given the X-Men cartoon on DVD at Christmas, but I'd be so interested to watch the old Spider-Man cartoon (from the 1990s, not the old-old one from the 1960s). I bet it is even worse than I remember it.

In a stunning bit of thinking, a judge rules that people are not their IP addresses. Or vice-versa, whichever. This is still of the good. I'm all for stopping the kiddie porn watchers, but I still believe you should have to do a liiiiittle more actual investigation than assuming that because something was downloaded to a given IP address that it must be the person residing at that address' fault. People are far too lazy about securing their wireless or patrolling their friends'/roommates' habits. Use the IP link to start a proper investigation, fine. Use it to smear someone FOREVER with a link to kiddie porn? Not so much.

This is it! The. Last. Test. And I only have two nights left in which to study. Work has turned out to be, surprisingly, less busy than I anticipated, but instead of working or studying, I'm making my second LJ post of the day. Ahhhhhhhh.

MAY MOVIE

I believe you all know when and where our May Movie will be this year. YES? Excellent. People are possibly making plans for dinner aforehand. Please do! I won't be able to attend because I have to go between two different theaters in the Broadway area to pick up tickets I bought for shows for my mother (my work has a corporate discount!), so I'll just be making it in time for the line up.

Oh yes! We're going to shoot to line up 7:30ish. I'm really, really not sure how crowded a) this theater will be or b) this movie in general. We're seeing it at one of the few theaters that had the times up early and one of the few playing Thor in 2D. I'm heartened to see that the 34th street has added a few 2D show times, but I'm not sure whether this will be an issue or not. (What the hell do I know? The inhabitants of this city could love to pay $16 to a potentially shit movie in a definitely shit extra dimension.) We'll say 7:30 pm and hope to Odin that's early enough.

I AM SO BORED. Here, I'm going to post about some things.

This actually excited me a lot until I realized that the article was about the release date of Mass Effect 3 being pushed back. As [livejournal.com profile] feiran  likes to say, balls to buttfuckers. However, that picture makes me inordinately excited. Mostly because NEW PEOPLE WITH SHEPARD AND ONE OF THEM IS AN ALIEN AND I LOOOOOOFFFFFF THE ALIENS. I am not rational about these games. I just...I'm not. Color me impressed with the anonymous human however: they found a way to make a reasonably attractive male character! Trust me, this has been impossible in the games so far. I have kept on playing male characters, but they are all, despite HOURS of investment on my part, incredibly ugly.

Oh man, if they dropped the price of the Wii by just, like, $50 more, I would get one. Mostly for this game. But even at $150, I can't justify buying a system with games I don't play, especially with the new system coming out in a friggin' year. I can't get an entire system I wouldn't hardly use for one game. They really, really, really need to port this game over to, like, the Kinect. You hear me, Microsoft? I will buy your stupid attachment if you get House of the Dead: Overkill. Hell, I'll buy a goddamned PS3, even with the massive problems they've had with losing customers' credit card data to hackers lately. GET ON THIS.
