Quick weekend rap up

Dodgeball was so much fun. I think I need to figure out how to arrange to meet up so we're more successful and not keeping some of our members waiting forever (again, darkling1, I am really sorry about that), but otherwise it was good fun. There was no head-hunting (other than my drive to bean jethrien because the girl can dodge like a mo-fo and I threw like thirty balls at her that all went astray, but it wasn't head-hunting per se, just JUSTICE), everyone got good and tired and I spent a good portion of the time laughing as did several others. There's something about the sly cat-and-mouse of challenging someone else to throw a ball at you or them challenging you to do so that's perfectly silly and wonderful.

The only thing I need to be aware of is that trees having sex hate me and my sensitive nose. Hate me. Hate me enough to make me take benedryl with desperate need. Stupid trees. You shouldn't be doing that kind of thing in public, hello!?

How many of you read Penny Arcade? Because this has become my life. Sunday and Monday nights, I've played Kingdom Hearts II for hours on end running around tying up the loose ends to finish off Jiminy's Journal so that I might have of the Ultimate Secret Ending, too. Sunday, I spent leveling my forms, and Monday was devoted (and I do mean devoted) to getting all the synthesis items and then synthesizing the shit out of them.

I found I had one combo that was still ???? in the journal. Turns out I never used Jack Sparrow (wait, please...just let me enjoy the thought...aaaaaand we're done) for his limit, and I turned that over real quick. At 12:45 am, I was debating doing the things I needed to do that night, like, you know, dishes from the night before, making my lunch, showering...but there was the syren lure of the VERY LAST THING I NEED TO DO BEFORE I CAN STOP PLAYING THIS GAME.

The Hades Paradox Cup. I got past where I'd been stuck, moving onto the next ten rounds, but I ran short on time (the 31-40th battles are time-based) when I came up against Cloud and Leon (!!! Could you cram any more sexy in there?). This is going to take some doing. Especially because I cheated to look at a FAQ and found out that rounds 41-50 ARE SOLO ROUNDS. No summons, no forms, no Donald, no Goofy. Just me, my keyblade, my magic, and my wits.

Oh, and Cloud and Leon and Tifa and Yuffie. IN ONE F'ING ROUND. I am so doomed. They said it's harder than Sephiroth. I didn't beat Sephiroth--cagexxx did. I am soooo hosed. I am truly going to get the bitch ending I deserve.

Just game talk. Even though I haven't played the game in question, I have a feel for the pain she is going through. In another week or two she'll be done ^_^
