Jul. 26th, 2006 05:41 pmOkay, this strip is why I think Foxtrot is so endearing He's poking fun, but he's also clearly a geek (he admits to be playing WoW, for those on my f'list who care, i.e. not me).
I think I'm going to go put all of the Foxtrot anthologies on my Amazon wish list. It really is a funny strip, and I still remember the ones from when Episode I and The X-Files Movie came out. They aged well.

Date: 2006-07-27 02:24 pm (UTC)I read Dilbert, but without passion. I feel like most of his jokes are pretty repetitive. I also think the difference is that you don't really care about the characters much - the characters in Foxtrot or Get Fuzzy are generally silly, but every once in awhile face genuine moral dilemmas or have something happen to them that pulls your heartstrings. Whereas in Dilbert, the characters are repeatedly subjected to pain, but you don't really feel it.
