I, too, dislike Grease. I think I like the medley of songs because I don't have to listen to all of them in their excruciatingly long versions, and that's about it. I actively dislike John Travolta, too.
And yes, do watch The Breakfast Club. It remains touching even as you realize there are a lot of convenient stuffs falling into place. Really, it's wonderful.
