Question:

How soon is too soon to declare someone dead? The girl next door and I had a music blasting fight (actually, maybe that was just me blasting mine to ignore hers) on Friday and then she up and vanished. The garbage bags are still hanging on her door handle (everyone else has put theirs inside), and I've not seen her since (or heard her). The bathroom's locked, too, all the time, and no one's in there. I called maintenance about it. Is it too alarmist to assume she's died in there/killed herself? That's the best I could come up with....

Wow, that's freaky... does noone on the floor know her personally?

EDIT TO ENTRY: Okay, have just gotten to use the bathroom that was locked, so she's not dead in there. Whew, big relief that. Also, am on upswing because I FINALLY GOT TO BRUSH MY TEETH! The locked bathroom locked away my toothbrush with the corpse that didn't exist. I'll never leave it in the bathroom again, I swear, this time I've learned my lesson. 24 hours without brushing...::shudders::

I have not, however, learned any lesson about not crying wolf. I'm going to continue to assume the girl next door is dead for shits and giggles.

and here I was going to say that maybe she gave up on school and decided to elope with one of the TA's and disappear never to be seen or heard from again.
