I need never shop for nice clothes for myself again. My younger sisters went to Ann Taylor and not only chose well but got the size perfect on every item they bought me for my birthday. I got a lovely skirt, a shirt/sweater set and another long-sleeved shirt. They're on the bent to make me respectable, I tell you what. I also got a perfectly fitted fleece jacket (from FSU, when my youngest sister was looking at schools). Between them and my older sister buying the cute top I wore on my birthday and the fact my mom buys clothes I love all the time for me, I'll be dangerously respectable and mature-looking at this rate.

Also? I GOT MORE SCENEIT GAMES! I got the Marvel Comics edition and the sequel pack to the main version. I predict and declare that there shall be a SceneIt Tournament sometime in the near future.

Oh man, word on the Ann Taylor. I hadn't shopped there since I got my bat mitzvah dress, but now I've got all these beautiful work clothes and -- I just -- can't wait to wear them places!

It just has a lot of stuff that fits me. Plus, and I ain't complaining, I got a shirt there that said it was about two sizes smaller than I wear and still fit. They flatter my ego, I'm gonna buy stuff!

Just before I'd gone there that day, I'd spent an incredibly frustrating hour at H&M discovering that they have yet again made a size 12 actually mean a size 8. So when I get told No, really, you are an 8-10, I ain't complaining. I'm sure America and the media are to blame and all, but hell, they're pretty clothes and they make me look nice!

They make one look respectable, which is something I could always use, given that my work attire is t-shirts and jeans. The occasional skirt and nice shirt wouldn't go amiss.

And if they say I'm a size 6, well...I know that's wrong, but it's very nice to hear.
