Not for my foot or composure at that hour of the morning. As for whether this is good bad or other for kitties--it's probably a protest over the litter or dislike of their food (got one that seems not to be a favorite recently).

I've done something like the same thing, only it's walking into the kitchen in the dark (or not even in the dark) and stepping straight into a ginormous puddle of dog hork.
