Donating blood last night with earthrise, I realized I never shared this bizarre dream I had. I think it was either the night after or night before I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. No spoilers, though.

Basically, my dream? JK Rowling was running away from someone. It turned out to be Ann Coulter. I woke up, still horrified by the dream, then I thought about it and laughed for about ten minutes straight. Because that is so appropriately funny in many, many ways.

Well, when you think about it, Ann Coulter kind of looks like J.K. Rawling after a sex-change operation.

I think the similarity was brought up by recent reappearances of Rowling on the news with the new book. She honestly tends not to be in the spotlight as much as I've seen, and, with people so adamant about not being spoiled, she's about all any news show could focus on without being shot. Otherwise, I hadn't seen her in a while and couldn't make that connection until recently, but you're quite right. If Rowling sold her soul to Satan and starting downing testosterone until her Adam's apple threatened her chin for prominence, she could be Coulter. If she were, you know, evil.

I think the latter. It's hard to tell. I go into a sort of adrenaline-induced period of extreme inability to control anything I say, even more so than my usual, after donating blood. I get giddy, in case you hadn't noticed.

But you won't be laughing when that comes true...
