Forgot to wish my one and only big brother a Happy Birthday yesterday on LJ. Thought about it all day. I guess the phone call saves me, but I can't believe I forgot to say it on LJ.

Happy Birthday, Big D!

Your parents named him Big D? Cruel, cruel people. :)

Actually, it was the crowd of lifeguards at the pool he worked at in high school. This greatly irked my older sister who'd worked there for longer and then became known as "Big D's Sister." I, wisely, never worked there.

That is a good thing, else you'd have become "Big D's Little Sister," and no one should be stuck being called BDLS, which sounds like an STD. :)

I think you underestimate teenagers. She'd totally have been "Double D". Much easier than vague allusions to STDs.

That could be, but then wouldn't they have to change the nickname of the elder sister to something like 1-D? Now see, and 3-D would totally work as a nickname, too.

The Double D would have happened because of El Tit Size. I have to relay this whole debate over nicknames to the family, because I think they'd get a kick out of it. The big sister might even let go of some of her irritation over still being Big D's sister...

See, I didn't want to be rude--after all, I've only just accepted that you exist. :)

Ask [livejournal.com profile] feiran: the boobage issue is one of resigned acceptance at this point. It's all good.

Not as cruel as "Little D". :P

You know things don't count unless you blog about them.

It's true, they don't. If only the news about Terry Pratchett hadn't made it's way onto my LJ, it wouldn't be true!
