I think that Spider-Man had some truly joyous moments that Spider-Man 2 lacked (there's something magical about the power-discovery point and there always will be), but I agree that, objectively, Spider-Man 2 was better. And I feel the same way about X-Men 2--like some parts of the first, felt the second did way better by the characters, story, powers, etc.
