It was on clearance for $3 at Best Buy. I couldn't resist.

It's attached to my computer now, but given that the console is a stabler thing, I might ask

feiran for permission to hook it up to the XBOX.

Cute! I'm surprised you don't have the TARDIS USB hub (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Doctor-Tardis-Port-Powered-Station/dp/B000F46CQM). It really does make the sound and light up when you plug into the ports. :)

No worries at all. It had a sticker on it pricing it at $39.99. Not a chance in hell I'd pay anything like that, but for 90% off? Ayyyyy.

Don't hook it up to the XBox. The last thing you want to do is suck more power from the USB port on those things--greatly increases the likelihood of overheating. Though you could probably safely hook it up to the powered Rock Band USB hub.

Can I plug it into my TARDIS hub, which has substituted for the shitty hub that came with Rock Band?

They're cool, right? I wish I had a desktop to plug it into! My TARDIS hub will have to do.
