Obama conspiracy!
Mar. 12th, 2008 04:10 pmOf course we had to talk about the Spitzer thing in class last night. A very good skeptic (not cynic!) recognized something interesting about the fallout from Spitzer's (presumpitve, last night) resignation. Spitzer had been a supporter of Clinton, and, as a super delegate, he probably would have thrown his weight behind her.
And now we have a Harlem democrat who will be governor. No, this person wasn't suggesting that Obama had anything to do with getting Spitzer outed (the federal wire-tapping program and Spitzer's own history of indiscretions did that), but that Obama now, potentially, stands to gain from it. Isn't that fascinating?
