It's official: funeral cancels my attendance of the May Movie. But I have a ticket, and it may as well not go to waste.

Anyone need a ticket to the May Movie? Have fun guys. Enjoy it a lot without me. ::whines::

Oh, that would be nice. I'd really love to see it with people more than anything. Honestly, I'm half tempted to drag my brother and older sister to see it Saturday night. I'm sure we will all need the silliness. But, again, not my mom's kind of thing and that's what will, first and foremost, inform upon just about anything we do.

It looks like I'm not the only one missing it this week, so I may get to go during the next week some time. My old roommate and her boyfriend are out of town for the May Movie. We might do a make-up run. Have to see what the schedule looks like. Somewhere in the next week, I need to find majorly choice gifts for my dad's half-forgotten 60th birthday and my mom for mother's day (even trickier, since the idea is to celebrate her without dropping into weepy territory).

Ugh, I just checked how much I paid for this: $12.75. THAT IS PRACTICALLY THIRTEEN DOLLARS. I wanted to vomit. Somehow, I'd convinced myself that the service charge was already in there when it say $11.25. Silly rabbit, fees are extra!

I got a taker for it--Q mentioned some friend or another wanting it, and she e-mailed me (though I didn't see it) before I even posted, so I thought it was fair to go ahead and give it to her. Should have stricken the LJ post entirely. Oh well, if you get a chance to see it this weekend, go go and have fun. No one should wait on me. I'm going to want nothing so much as sleep when I get back because I'm not getting it this weekend.

And I can't even complain because who chose the 6 am flight out of Newark? Oh, it was me!

Yeah. The DVD won't be much more than that--we're paying to see it right away.

I may try for some matinees this summer for the other big films I want to see. Cheaper, and smaller crowds. Just have to wake up early on a weekend (or take a day off from work!).
