Yeah, I failed to see The Dark Knight twice. That's okay. Maybe there will be enough people interested in a second viewing. Maybe on IMAX? I'd love to see it there and I do have a free ticket...

Maybe in another week when the craziness has died down. Seriously, SOLD OUT for a 2.5 hour movie starting at 9:45 pm on a Monday!?

I'm up for a second showing at IMAX. And based on what Fandango was telling me last time I looked, the next time there's an open seat at an IMAX showing will probably be after the bar, so it's all good!

It sold out when I went to see it yesterday at 7. I was lucky to get there early enough to get tix, but I ended up in the 2nd row about 80% of the way over (barely ok, in my opinion).

I've heard it's amazing in IMAX. I'm gonna want to see it again, so I might head down to the IMAX for that.

I was at IMAX seeing it a second time and as we were getting in there was a lady at the booth asking about tickets. She said the next time there was an evening showing with any tickets available was next Sunday.

I'm guessing that the box office from the weekend did not reflect the number of people who were a) unable to get tickets and b) chose not to be part of the insanity, and, therefore, Monday is the next best day. But sheeeesh.

I know the feeling. Honestly, I do want to see it again, mostly to convince myself it was just a movie. I would have fought harder to go along with y'all if I weren't still just a bitty-bit traumatized.

I went on a Friday afternoon. By 1pm, tickets for every show from 4pm onwards were sold out. I did get tickets to the 2:45pm show (which also sold out eventually).

weirdly, several people I know who saw it in IMAX first ended up preferring it on the regular screen. I will have to be a test case and do it in the reverse order to see if it's the same way for me or if it's merely that the second viewing helps make more sense of the thing.

But 4 pm and onwards on a Friday makes sense. It doesn't matter how late most people stay up. 9:45 pm on a Monday? You're not even getting out before midnight! Let alone getting home...

No clue. I have to think about this. I've got several parties for people's birthdays this week, so I would probably guess on the weekend some time. But weekends are probably going to be heavily booked. Hrm. I'll have a think and post some more when I know.
