trinityvixenKitty still being a butt about not eating. He might have eaten some dry food, but not so much that I can tell. I bought the old food to give him mashed together with the prescription food with less Rx food and more regular food. He's still being difficult. So I wrapped him in a towel and dropped pieces in his mouth. This was exceedingly messy and didn't get much that stayed in because he's a master of spitting it back out again.
New plan!
1) Puree cat food.
2) Add water to puree, create slurry.
3) Use medicine spoon/dropper to administer slurry, that he can't spit out if it goes down his throat.
Anyone see any problems with this? I still have the towel to catch run-off, so mess will (hopefully) be minimal.
