I SWEAR I DON'T LIKE KIDS

BUT THIS IS SO CUTE!

Stupid ovaries! Stop almost crying over how adorable this is.

Also, I'm pretty sure that this was my default expression as a kid.

(Oh fine, here's just a link to the site.)

Our son hugs like that, too.
And yes, he makes that face sometimes.

Speaking of which, you'll appreciate this--there's a moment in the most recent Supernatural where Dean is upset about something. The only problem is, the face he makes? It's identical to our son's "I've got a poopy diaper!" face. jendaby and I have been going around the whole week saying, "Dean poopy!" and cracking up. :)

My niece hugs my sister like that. And no matter what, she makes this mewling little face as if she's about to cry. Because it's friggin adorable. It's the whump hug, I call it, because Cassie just throws herself into a hug, and she's big, so it makes people stagger some times.

I need to catch up on SPN to see this. How does it compare to Frodo's constipated-pain face?

Less stoic, more pouty I'm-about-to-cry. So, even funnier. :)

Yeah, our son has bowled me over a few times. And his sister? Fuggedaboutit.

I love it, though. It's so perfectly loving and comforting--for both parent and kid.

Oh yeah. It's amazing. Nothing erases a crap day like one of those hugs.

I think a good hug should always be able to do that, but there's nothing like one of those hugs, not ever.

Awww! That is totally cute! :)

Friggin kids, being so friggin cute. Actually, what's really making me go a mushy one is Obama's expression. That is such a loving parent expression.

See, this doesn't win me over at all. Most pictures of kids don't make me "Aw cute" over them.

Kids can OCCASIONALLY make me "Aw cute" when I see them do something actually cute, like, on a train or in a museum or something.

[identity profile] trinityvixen.livejournal.com 2008-10-09 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
It's not just the kid. Like I said above, half of what sells me is Obama's expression because it's like the perfection of parental love.

But that hug? It's just like what my niece does to my sister. It's a hug of absolute contentment and joy just to be back in mommy's hands.

Dude, Rule #34 doesn't exclusively apply to porno sites. (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Rule%2034) If you can imagine it, someone has a website devoted to it.

I can imagine it, but... it had better not be out there.
