Kitties are fee-free for adoptions this month at the North Shore Animal League. Puppy adoptions are really cheap, too. ($25 for all pups 1 year or older.)

I waaaaaant more kitties. I doooooo. But I just spent eleventy billion times what we paid to adopt our babies on the one's stupid urethra, so that's right out. Anyone thinking of adopting? This is your moment. It's a great cause--the shelter is fabulous, and you'll get your pets first shots through them and what not as well. I know that (for you NYC people) they do adoptions out of the PetCo on 86th and Lex on Saturdays. Won't you go adopt an adorable kitten that was abandoned or made homeless by the hurricane?

Oooh - I do want one! Kitties! There are about three of the young females that i would have to decide between, though, because they all look so awesome. Then, I would have to convince the rest of the household that Bleys needs a new friend. :)

Kitties should always come in pairs or more. One kitty by his lonesome is lonely!!! I expect this argument will win 110% of the time where people (such as ourselves) have not just spent a lot of money on medical stuffs.

Vet bills, schmet bills. Unless something catastrophic goes wrong, you can take them to North Shore, and it's cheap! Allergy meds aren't too bad if you get generics, and litter can be cheap if you buy it bulk...
