That would be me. Not only was my boss here (just hiding in her office), but she has just handed me something that requires me to come in on Saturday. Joy and rapture. I get to take off early on Friday (but will probably switch that up for time off on Monday so I can sleep in on my birthday), but yeah, get to come in on Saturday.

It shouldn't bother me, really, but working on the weekend, even when I'm summarily compensated as far as time, always messes me up, scheduling-wise. I never feel like I had any time off. I could miss nothing at all for going into work, and it still feels like I lost my break from work. Sigh.

Bleh. I used to like working on weekends because I got massive overtime, but now I think my personal time is much more valuable than any dollar amount. At least the commute is good...?

Yeah, it's definitely better than when I'd have to come up from 97th street. But personal time is way more important.
