Thank god that happiness meme is done

trinityvixenBecause now I can report on my awful dream from last night!
I dreamed that I was on a plane rather like that one that landed in the Hudson. You know, that one? Yeah, so, I was on a plane that splashed down on some water and I was negotiating getting out and no one was rushed or anything, they just hopped out over to the wing. I remember going towards the back instead of the front because the door was gaping open. I wondered who thought that that was a good idea, given how that pretty much just meant more water would get in. Sure enough, when I got to the back door, I watched the floor of the plane sinking into the water some more and then started panicking a lot even though, hello McFly, the door was open, and I could have just gotten out. (It was warm in the dream, too. No freezing in the Hudson for me!)
In the midst of getting out, I discovered that the rough landing had resulted in me breaking off my upper right canine. I looked at the took in the dream and cried because it was whole at the bottom but the root was all splintered and they'd never get that back in. I also, somehow, despite having the root and the whole tooth, had a triangular nub left in my jaw that I kept tonguing.
Needless to say, I woke up still licking my tooth and struggling, in the first few minutes of consciousness to reassure myself that my tooth was, in fact, still there. Ah, me.
