Dude, the New York Times review spoiled that. Well, they made mention of the ending, which they can't describe in more detail, because it changes history, which, when you're talking about a WWII film, pretty much means "they killed Hitler." So not so good, there, NYT.
Not that I care. There was simply no way I was going to this movie.
Though, there was a preview before District 9 for Zombieland. I saw that and said, if trinityvixen doesn't already want to go to this, she will as soon as she hears about it.
I had no idea it was such an AU, though! I was totally surprised, especially since the movie set up about thirty different ways Hitler was going to get killed. Usually that means that the players acting opposite each other will all screw one another over. Instead, they all killed Hitler! Weird.
Zombieland first came on my radar when I heard that Woody Harrelson tried to play off his assaulting some paparazzo who grabbed at him by saying he was still working on fear and adrenaline from shooting this little zombie movie. Needless to say, I am looking forward to it.
