I want out! It's so nice out!! I haven't redone my toenails (you can still see reddish dye from where I removed the mostly-chipped nail polish that was there), but fuck it, I'm wearing sandals and clam-diggers and I am ready to have it stay warm forever. But, alas, it's not to be. But for today! I am warm.

Also, more proof that I'm not a consumer whore following my last post. Things I am not buying today:

-This hoodie. Tempting. You all know how much I love the Cap.
-This movie. Stop recommending it to me, Amazon. You're on notice.
-All right, all right, this is a little tempting. I have so many bags with no interior pockets. But the name alone freaks me out.

Amazon is telling me to pre-order Avatar. Which I'll probably do as soon as there's a Rifftrax (that and 2012 both heavily deserve the Rifftrax treatment).

Avatar will have three releases, so you know. The first release that Amazon, Best Buy, and Deep Discount won't stop hounding me about is a bare-bones version. There'll be a special edition of some stripe available later this year and a version for 3-D TVs a year or so from now, depending on how those TVs sell, I suppose. If you really want the movie, you might want to wait and just Netflix the early DVD for riffing. (Which will be epic, I'm sure.)

Amazon sometimes gets the pre-order offers right (typically on video games) and sometimes gets them very wrong. Case in point, I also got an email about pre-ordering Avatar, and not only did I not see it in theaters, but I never buy movies on DVD.

That said, your impressive home theater setup might be sufficient to watch it in a non-Imax setting, especially with Rifftrax involved.

The "kangaroo keeper" intrigues me, but I know full well that it wouldn't perfectly fit any bag (say, a backpack or tote bag) that I wanted to use it for, thereby wasting lots of space.

Oh, I'm positive that it's as much a waste of money as anything on the website dedicated to "As Seen on TV" products. You'd be better off sewing pockets into your tote bag or attaching them with velcro.
