Oh, I'm sure they are. IANAL so I don't know if this law has a more sinister purpose, but even if edgehopper is right it sounds like a stupid piece of culture-war dog-whistle bullshit, about as useful as giving a fetus the right to vote or buy handguns. Just something to make the feminists mad and the babbling whack-jobs happy.
