Man.

Amazon's free prime service for students lasts only a year? Damn. At least I get the next year for 1/2 price? Amazon, how you do suck me in. I've been totally suckered and I will probably renew this although I'm less than happy about spending money to get "free" shipping...

Use my student ID. I should also get it for a year.

I'm not even sure how to do that. I think you'd have to set up a separate account or something.

Since I buy a lot of household items wholesale on Amazon, and my family tends to order stuff to my apartment on short notice, full price of Prime is actually a good deal.

It wouldn't really be if I couldn't add my family members to it at no cost, but as long as they allow that, totally worth it.

It's worth it, since I split the cost with my domestic partner (I wonder how that works now that she's married to someone else?), but still. Free is better than a good deal.

I think the delivery point still needs to be the same, but (I think) that's it. Also, student Prime may not be able to share accounts at all.

Wait, Carrie is legally your domestic partner? On paper?

According to Amazon, but not really.
