It's been a good weekend, how about you?
Aug. 7th, 2005 02:13 pmThis weekend I have:
-Seen and hung out with Liz C and Michelle bunches
-Went to all-night Wal-Mart
-Got two shirts at Hot Topic for the price I usually pay for one
-Been to 7-11 more than 5 times in 24 hours, including two stops made without returning home first
All-night Wal-Mart is awesome. It's the most expansive building ever, next to places like Sam's Club or Costco or such, only it looks larger because there aren't inconvenient stacks of crap in the way; you can see clear across the giant store. It also has fun stuff for the cheap, including the eclectic items I randomly picked up.
-6-foot shoe-laces
-AA batteries
-tweezers
-toothpaste
-listerine
-a bra
-skittles
-a new lunchbag
-more batteries
-potato chips
-nail polish remover
Of course, on top of all the stuff I bought, my mother's loaned me books on Hawaii and Drew's returned my three CD binders, so I'm bringing home more stuff than left yet again. And I couldn't resist: got another movie-yen, this time for A Life Less Ordinary and went and picked that up as well, making it one of about a billion movies I watched at home, again.
L.A. Confidential
Troy (note: this movie should not be watched all or in part while sober; this is what I learned watching it sober this time around)
Batman Forever
Big Fish (made me cry, again, I can't believe it)
Aliens vs. Predator
Empire Records
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (again with the cut version, ugh)
I repeat, what a weekend...

"I just saw 20 minutes of a barfight over a stupid blonde. The bouncers asked the guys to take it outside. Then someone gave them funding, costumes, and named it 'Troy'."
