Best Monday Ever
Oct. 17th, 2005 10:45 amI walked in this morning to find that a guy who works a couple benches down from me had a Serenity hat on. I complimented it.
Also, all hail
deepredbelle! She betas, she writes, she makes me go all woogly at work! I am in the way of being much in love and stealing her away for an illicit affair.
Damn good Monday, had an apple already, too (went apple picking this weekend, gotta get through the bushel).

Sausage with apples and onions
Date: 2005-10-17 03:46 pm (UTC)3 medium sized onions
3 large or 5 medium sized apples
apple cider (enough to cover in which ever pan you are using)
garlic (to taste)
salt (to taste, but depending on sausage it may not be necessary)
1) Slice onions in slivers and introduce to heated pan with oil and garlic.
2) Once onions have softened a bit, add sausage (sliced or whole is fine). Slice apples.
3) Once sausage has been browned to your liking, add enough apple cider to cover the sausage and onions, and add the apple slices. Cover.
4) After about 5 minutes (or after the cider has hit a rapid boil) uncover and let reduce till liquid reaches maple syrup like consistency. Then it's done.
That should help you get rid of some of those apples ^_^ This also works well with country style spareribs, but needs more salt.
