trinityvixenAre the people on the 'bad' side of the island going to get backstories? I assume we could dredge up enough trauma and "ooh, look, another survivor we don't much talk to" stuff on the main group's part to fill three seasons more, but it wouldn't be fair to cut off the other group entirely.
It's also not evenly enforced, seeing as Ana-Lucia's been in a Jack flashback, and if Rose is ever developed, her husband should be expected to appear. It's too early to tell, really, but just, you know, curiosity.
I have nothing else to contribute today. I'm at work, I've been working, woop-de-freakin' do. Anyone have any ideas for Halloween for me? I think this weekend I'll head down to the Party City I saw in Union Square, try to hunt up some ideas. I've toyed with a bunch of disparate and joint costume ideas and not really gelled with any of them. I'd love to do Rainbow Brite, but I'll be damned if I pay Ricky's $70 for the costume.

darkling1 kindly performed story critique on it the level of his usual, so I have lots of notes. I spent a lunchtime going over them, trying to find answers to his questions and trying to insert lines to backup places where I felt I'd been lax in my storytelling for the sake of pretty-sounding flow. It happens a lot. I'm terrible at revision because I write spur-of-the-moment/free-flow all the time. I almost never plan out anything in advance, but once I perfect the way a line sounds, I am so fixed on it I have trouble changing it. I could submit the entry as is--it's just a fanfiction contest--but I do want to make it better. Sigh.

Date: 2005-10-20 11:29 pm (UTC)something fun is go at shock from nightmare before christmas...its fairly easy just time consuming (took me two hours when my hair was longer then yours to braid pipe clears in it to make my hair like hers)
My ultimate goal is go as Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle one year.
and if all else fails
get a friend
buy two fedoras (one black, one white) two trench coats (one blk, one white), shoes, and clothes. gets some weapon toys at a toy store
