trinityvixenIs it so much to ask that fanbrats be killed off? I mean, I know they help support franchises and stuff, but isn't it legal to destroy them when they're being, I dunno, so blatant about how much they suck?
I decided to browse over old fandoms--Blade, Batman Begins, to name a couple--and the first stories that pop up, are all Mary Sues. This is nothing new, especially since I'd only managed to look at ff net before getting so angry I was on the verge of spewing bile. What bothers me is the false modesty and the caveats--"starts of stupid, gets better," "it's my first fanfiction"--and the like. If you know it sucks, will you do us all a favor and keep it off the intardnet?
