They are adding Psylocke to X-Men 3 I am all for the character. She brings much needed ninja-ry to the movie, really. But this is a movie adding a new character when the promo trailer's already out there (mit new footage!) and the movie comes out in 5 months? Aren't most movies in post-production by then?

Oh, and this past vacation I caught about two seconds of this on Lifetime. I made Drew stop browsing the TV channels (we have a satellite up there now with TiVo--so much for a country retreat) because I recognized the names that came up in the little info box.

I wish I'd just let her keep flicking. I really didn't need to see Dawn kissing Simon. I really, really, really didn't. She's too damn young for him anyway, and there's really no need to have Joss 'verse incest like that. Not that way, please.

Yes, I could be updating about Christmas and the week of vacation that just flew by, but I choose to gripe about movies. Yes, I'm comfortable with that. I am enlightened.

No. Dear God no. I refuse to watch the incestuous stuff. Besides, it looked terrible. From what I read on the IMDB, it was based off a 'beloved' book that was 'ruined,' which I have translated to mean "Oprah said she liked it, many people pretended to, then when they saw the movie that was pretty much verbatim, they realized it was romance novel drivel."

I'm sure it was as bad as I thought, even without that reading, too. I mean, it was on Lifetime, for Pete's sake...
