It sure did.

That's all I will say, since I'm no good at not spoiling, even unintentionally. I am not saying word one. I've seen The Matrix Revolutions. I got to chat with a seat neighbor which was good fun, and we joshed about things in the movie. Please note: my saying jokes were made does not imply the movie was funny, nor does it imply it was not. No mention of my humor should be taken as indicative of anything. At the time, I'd gotten no sleep for 36 hours, had two lollipops and a bottle V (Carrie: THAT STUFF IS THE DEVIL).

So yeah, I saw the movie and I'm seeing it again. That's all I'll say.

However, I can, without spoiling, say I'm going to miss my franchise. I was talking with my neighbor about this. I'm worried I'm up for more heartbreak when Return of the King hits theaters in December. Because you never really want the fantasy to end. But it has to, right? I will miss wondering about the possibilities of the world of the fandom, you know? Discussing with Michelle will continue regardless, but still, I guess it's just sad to have the textual answer (film has corrupted me: I'm calling stories texts now). That's all, really. And I really, really hope I'm not in the same boat when LOTR finishes, but I think I will be. When the anticipation's gone, what do you have to look forward to? I mean, the Matrix taunted me for years. The first one came out, I became psycho obsessed, and I remember pouring over the first few articles that hinted Warner Brothers was going to take the franchise and run with it. At the time, I was sooooooo nervous---so much they could get wrong (The Twins! Persephone's dress in Revolutions!), and if not everyone came back...(as happened when the guy who played Tank went off on them). Then reading more, getting some of the first pictures, rumors, etc. Now, all done. I've seen the text. It can't taunt me like this any more : TAUNTY-TAUNTY-TAUNTY!

And I worry for Lord of the Rings. The Matrix sequels took so long to make, to get the people, the technology in one space together, etc etc. But Lord of the Rings they designed to torment me with year-long waits, released and re-released versions on DVD, even though they had it! In the can! Am I going to sit, watch the battle of Pelinor Fields (sp?) and go, wait, no more? See the returning of this king person and go, no, no, something else has to happen, I'm not ready to stop?

This is psychosis. I'll feel better when I can talk to people about it without fear of spoiling. Tomorrow, it's always better tomorrow.

I hope.

*bawls* I want more Matrix movies! It can't just be over!!! No no no no. I don't care about the story, just keep it going! Days of Our Lives manages!!!!

Wait...LOTR is over in December?? I thought there were 7 Lord of the Rings, y'know, for every year Frodo goes to Hogwarts and has gay sex with Draco Malfoy and Rita Skeeter writes about it and posts it on slash sites?
