I mentioned this to
ivy03 yesterday, but for all who don't know and love the show, you should really check out Firefly - the Virtual Seasons. This is a cooperative effort to bring together the end Firefly of with the start of Serenity, and so far it's been highly enjoyable. Good characterizations, gen-fic, lots of laughs, character development---really, it feels like the show continued, which it's supposed to.
The latest (aka third) 'episode' is up, and I'm off to read!

I just ordered it online, along with the movie DVD and the scriptbook/visual guide to the movie (yes I become obsessed very quickly :D )

Date: 2006-02-06 03:27 pm (UTC)The comics do bridge the show and film, but the story isn't exceptional or anything. Art is hit or miss, but it's a must-have for any fan.
And I, too, have the visual guide, but I go one-up on geekery here, I also have the novelization. Just because seeing the film five times in theaters wasn't enough. :)
