My brother-in-law is a funny guy. We (my mother, myself, and my youngest sister) called him to wish him a happy birthday, giving him the full family experience of overwhelming him with all of us at once. It's completely baffling, as my brother found out when we called him on his birthday (in the morning, too). We found out my mother has continued her goat-related gifting to him (based on the joke he cracked about demanding a dowry for my sister which included goats and camels) with an old movie with the word 'goat' in the title. I asked if he'd gotten his large present yet...

Me: Did you open your big gift?
Jotham: No, I didn't see a big gift.
Me: Oh, it wasn't literally a big one, just, you know, big.
Jotham: Actually, yeah, I opened it. What was it again?
Me:...uh-uh, no telling.

And that's all she wrote until Monday when I get back from roaming Walt Disney World with a bunch of teenage anorexics with manic, competitive tendencies (read: the National Cheerleading Championships). Should be a riot. I expect to come back with a healthy hatred for my decidedly plumper shape and with some sunburn. That would par for my vacations to date...
