1. Who was your best friend?
![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
2. What sports did you play?
Does gym class count? None. I did French Club, a literary magazine, and an entertainment magazine.
3. What kind of car did you drive?
For the first year I could, my dad's bright, fire-engine-red Pontiac Firebird. After it got bequeathed to my brother, I drove his it's-blue-if-you-squint-at-it-but-really-purple-in-most-lights Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.
4. It's Friday night, where were you at?
The movies, or en route to the Bruce Museum!
5. Were you a party animal?
You've got to be kidding. I went to the cast party for the Senior Class play and nearly passed out. I cannot do parties like that.
6. Were you in the "In Crowd"?
Right. The closest I came was AP Calc, where I was in class with the 'in crowd.'
7. Ever skip school?
So lame...but no..
8. Ever smoke?
Not in high school, actually.
9. Were you a nerd?
I did my homework every night, and almost never stayed up past midnight. That's a yes.
12. Who was your favorite teacher?
Mr. Arrigo, the AP Calc teacher. I had him for two years, and I made it into BC Calc because of him. The first year I had math with a retiring teacher who didn't give instructions or anything useful. The year after, a nice guy taught math, but he wasn't that good at it. Mr. Arrigo made me like math. And we proved God existed in his class. After him, Mr. Vaughn, who is an absolutely STELLAR physics teacher, and that is saying something (physics isn't something that's easy to pay attention to, you know). Oh, and Mr. Silverman, for finally making French interesting.
13. Favorite class?
Forensic Science. We went to a burning house the fire department practiced on to collect evidence. I totally was CSI before CSI.
14. What was your school's full name?
Scarsdale High School
15. School mascot?
The Bandersnatch, a red dragon, which made total sense as we were "The Raiders." I think there was a white dragon brought in to match him, and it had some stupid name I can't remember (I skipped pep rallies whenever I could).
16. Did you go to Prom?
Heeeeeeelllllllls no. I went to an amusement park!
17. If you could go back and do it over, would you?
Not unless you paid me. A lot.
18. What do you remember most about graduation?
Being hot.
19. Favorite memory of your Senior Year?
Senior Options--you do an internship for a month. It's like working only less serious, and I got to play at an Aquarium for a month. And at night, I came back to school for the play.
21. Did you have a job your senior year?
Yep, three, actually. I worked as a tennis/squash court attendant, I typed up my church's weekly bulletin and stuff for the Nursery school run at the church, and I worked at a mailing/printing store.
22. Who did you date?
I went on one date with the cute kid from AP Calc. It was fairly disastrous as I had never really gone on a date before, and didn't really realize it was a date until he wanted to pay for my arcade spendings. It probably doesn't help that we went to see End of Days for our movie, or that he picked me up with the Pulp Fiction soundtrack playing in his red volvo.
23. Where did you go most often for lunch?
The music tower, until they kicked us out. It's technnically a classroom though it is never used except for testing purposes, and you're not supposed to be in classrooms without supervision.
24. Have you gained weight since then?
Iffy, not sure. I lost weight in college, and I think I've gained it back. Ten pounds maybe.
25. Did you get suspended/expelled?
No, but I did get sent to the Vice Principal's office for using the shit in the Music Tower. I was using an ancient typewriter to type out the script to The Matrix from memory when some secretary busted in. To be fair, she didn't know I hadn't turned on the A/C (that was my friend Cat), but I still got the bum's rush.
26. Can you sing the Alma Mater?
Uh, they have those for high schools?
27. What did you do after graduation?
Wasted time. Upstate and down, parties when people left, buying things for college. At the end, read The Iliad.
