It is, but it was damned hard to figure out why anyone was doing anything. Was there any point at all to Dumbledore's daughter being a crack addict?

I think it was just a way for Daniel Craig's character (does he have a name?) to get connected with Gambon's (Eddie Temple). Other than that, their motivations are money and not getting killed. I don't think anyone has another motive in the entire movie.
